‘The whole is greater than the sum of its parts’
Local shoppers will have their favourites in Hamlet Court Road. However, the street is far more than a collection of individual shops: the street as a whole is impressive both architecturally and as a community hub. It is a great asset to the Westcliff. And it can become even better.
Hamlet Court Road Shops aims to:
i) To promote and support the businesses in and around HCR through the HCRS Business Directory & Information Website, Facebook Page and related Activities.
ii) To promote and encourage local Businesses, Residents and Community Groups to work together to improve the wellbeing, appearance, safety, social connection, economic viability and sustainability of the area.

Having lived in Westcliff for eleven years I've always felt lucky to have such a lovely street to shop in each week. However I've seen too many shops close down and I felt I wanted to do something to help bring more visitors to the place. It would be good to have one or two other people contributing to the design and content of the website at some point.
